The first title that we see is the name of Liam Neeson, this is as he is the Top Billing for the film and him being in it will attract lots of interest for the film
What font style and colour is used?
The font style is very dark and plain and is this is done to reflect the serious mood of the film. Some text is also a bright red colour which forshadows dangers.

The text is placed in the top left hand side of the screen this is due to all the action happening in the screen and also the colour of the font would class with the red objects on the screen.

The mid-shots and close-ups show the emotions of the characters, at the beginning we see a mid-shot and close-up expressing both father and daughters reactions to seeing one another.
There are also transitions between the shots to keep it continuous. Some transitions can cause suspense after seeing one thing the transition maybe longer creating suspense as to what happens next.
