Working Title Films

  • 1. Working Title Films is a British film production company, based in London, England. The company was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1984. It produces feature films and some television productions. Eric Fellner and Bevan are the co-owners of the company now. The company gained mainstream traction after the unexpected global box-office success of Hugh Grant-starrer, Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Our inspiration film was trainspotting and so therefore we have decided to use the same productiona and distribution company as them. Snatch was produced by Film4 Productions, this is a UK film production company that is owned by Channel Four Television Corporation. It is one of the biggest UK production companies and has also produced several over notable films like trainspotting, attack the block and Slumdog Millionaire. All of these films are british made and as our film is also british made we feel that using film4 productions would be best. Other production companies we considered were DNA Films and working title as they are both UK comapanies and also Paramount pictures as they produced are other insporation film snatch.
